About (About the blog)

Welcome to my social media website…

Social media is a term being tossed around a lot these days. It is an effective non-conventional media including Internet forums, weblogs, social blogs, wikis, podcasts, blogs, picture-sharing, vlogs, wall-postings, email, instant messaging, music-sharing, social networks, crowdsourcing, social bookmarking, micro-blogging and even many more tools to disseminate information through social interaction in order to influence people in many ways.

No doubt that people will keep generating content to these as long as the internet lives.

The aim of this social media website is to allow me to bridge and connect with a large audience beyond my personal web site’s normal reach.

Here is how I do that with social media….

  • My Blog Social media is also about conversations, and there’s probably no better way to encourage conversations on than a blog….. Let’s communicate
  • My personal website Designed to function as a hub for my students with the aim to provide powerful learning insights into marketing theory and practice.
  • Twitter Helps me to keep in touch with people through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What’s happening? Despite all the noise, there are some very good reasons to use Twitter.
  • Facebook A powerful tool to share and make my world more open and connected.
  • YouTube Here I share my classes, lectures and videos where users can view and share ideas.
  • Shelfari On shelfari I discuss and share my favorite books with friends and strangers in meaningful conversations about the published word.”
  • LinkedIn Helps me to maintain a list of contact details of people I already know and trust in business.

  • Scribd On Scribd, I quickly and easily turn nearly any file—including PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel—into a Web document and share it with the world.
  • Offline Social media is great for making connections and maintaining relationships in between offline encounters, but it cannot replace or diminish the value of face time.
